Welcome to the Lambourn Model Flying Group Website

The Lambourn Model Flying Group formally came into being on the 1 January 2006. The Club operates from the old wartime airfield of Membury, which is close to the village of Lambourn in Berkshire. We encourage all types of model flying, but with the M4 motorway running along its northern boundary and with two large motorway service stations and a 500’ television mast close by, the site is not perhaps, well suited to free flight models. We can fly every day of the week and so, as well as the usual bunch of weekend flyers, our members often turn up on weekdays and particularly during the long summer evenings. If you are looking for a friendly, safe environment with very reasonable membership fees to fly your planes then look no further than L.M.F.G.!
